I think Windows 10 runs better on my Acer AOD250 with 2GB of DRAM than windows 7 did. It seems that W10 balances a heavy background workload to give foreground response. It is wise to upgrade to a SSD.Once you upgrade to W10-32 bit, you can do a clean install of W10 if you need to. Microsoft recognizes a previously upgraded to W10 system signature, so W10 is activated. During the clean install, just skip when asked for a key.The only Acer drivers I needed to install was the Intel graphic medial accelerator windows 7 driver called VGAIntel8.W7x86A.zip from the Acer AOD250 driver page. Otherwise, graphics mode is stuck in 800x600 vs 1024x600 you can get with thedriver.
