2yStill a fantastic skin even 8 years on.I absolutely LOVE the sparks that fly off when you shoot it, as it really builds the atmosphere and theme of the style of decaying junk and metal that this skin captures perfectly.However I must say that the blood decals are appalling. This is a shame because it detracts from what would be otherwise an amazing mod. If you even still care about hl2 and modding, I must insist that this one really needs the blood decals changed to default.

This post is 10y Detail: The Detail in this skin is brilliant, the sparks that are created when the guard is shot is such an original idea, and combines with the metal texture, gives it astounding detail, this is a very well done job, although there is some room for improvement. Areas that could use some work are the texture itself, other than making the guard gray, maybe add a metal texture to the guard and give it some finer detail and patterns and what not. I know you're not a modeler so there's nothing that can be done in that area.Originality: As said up top, the sparks that are created when the guard is shot is a very original idea, kudos to whoever pulled that trick off, it really gives the feel of metal, which is obviously what you were going for, so brilliant job here. No criticism needed in this area really, other than what i mentioned earlier, the texture.Texture: This is the area that needs a little improvement, like i said before, a metal texture would have done this skin wonders, although the gray suits it really well anyways. Some minor things like dirt, grunge and scratches would have give this skin some amazing detail, but there could always be a V.2:PReally well done here dude.
