Final Fantasy Tactics Calculator
Final Fantasy Tactics 1.3 is a modification of Final Fantasy Tactics by Archael. It greatly increases the difficulty of the game and re-balances it by tweaking items, skills, jobs, and giving the enemies the player faces more options, which unlocks the AI's true potential. It is a very different experience from the original game. All the changes that 1.3 makes to the game can be found in this website. FFT has long been my favorite game. I recently found myself compelled to emulate it and replay it on my HTC Ruby when I ran across an old version of your MOD on emuparadise.
Video game walkthroughs, JavaScript games, JavaScript utilities, how-to guides, and more.
After googling your website, the forums were very helpful in finding an Android emulator,FPse, that didn't crash when running the game (looking at you ePSXe), and very comprehensive in describing how to patch the.bin to this version. Now, I am looking forward to playing through the game even more! Thank you in advance to all who developed this MOD. 1/5I was really looking forward to playing this hack but I have to say it was a huge disappointment.
It was fun and challenging at the beginning but the level of difficulty eventually gets to the point of being absurd. I guess the biggest problem I have with 1.3 is just my personal preference when it comes to playing strategy games.
I like to play through them in such a way that isn't 'cheap' and 'game breaking'. In 1.3 I was looking forward to being able to play through the game with a regular party of a couple fighters, some mages, and a healer. I got up to Zeakdon Fort and quit shortly after I realized the only way to win was to turn everyone into a black mage and spam mjollrn on Algus. Or maybe I could have turned everyone into a calculator by that time but that to me would have been just as reprehensible. This is not the way I want to play this game or any rpg for that matter. And maybe that's just the way FFT is, modded or not. I think it's the only rpg I've played where leveling up actually hurts your chances of progressing.
I thought about it a little then I remembered one of my favorite games, FF8, also has scaled enemies. But the difference is FF8 doesn't have scaled Boss Battles, which would be the equivalent of an FFT story battle. Some people may like this but to me it is extremely lame and broken. If I'm grinding and leveling up for 2 hours I like there to be some kind of reward for that, not for me to start pulling my hair out when I get into a story battle and archers are one hitting my team and enemies in general have 3x the amount of health I have simply because I haven't gotten through enough story battles to have gotten the appropriate stat raising gear.
If everything is scaled, then what's the point of having a leveling system in the first place? Why not just have jp leveling? I wouldn't have minded that a bit, and 1.3 really seems to make this flaw stand out more than it should. For some good rpg challenges that are still fun and can be beaten through hard work and good strategy, I recommend playing the FF7 hardtype hack or to play through FF6 Vanilla without level grinding. The original Japanese FF4 is also very fun and challenging. I can't believe this has been around for a few years now, and I just heard about it FFT is my favorite of favorites!well, I have a problem though.
The game refuses to get past Gafgarion's initial move in Orbonne Monastary fight.I downloaded epsxe with all the patches and everything needed to run it. I downloaded this patch. I did the PPF O matic and made a merged file. Everything looks like it's in order, but I can't figure out what's wrong. Anyone willing to try to help me?I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling a couple of times, and tried downloading a different version of FFT as well. Same problem every time.Any help is GREATLY appreciated.
Final Fantasy Tactics Jobs
I'm seriously looking forward to playing this so incredibly much. Thank you Mods for this amazing feat! I have no idea how you guys are able to play this mod. I have tried so many times but I never pass the mission 'Dorter Trade City'. The one that has 3 marksman, 1 knight, and 2 wizards.
Really, when I think my group is strong enough the archers kill my members with 1 shot each, is impossible for me. I tried lv 5, lv 10, and now lv 20. The last team was Ramza Lv 24 (Ninja) with martial arts but he got killed twice before I kill one of the archers. He hits 60 while archers hit 110.
One Monk Lv 23 that always die at the beginning. Another Ninja Lv 23 (same as Ramza) that also dies with one archer's hit. Yet, my poor Summoner Lv 22 with Black Magic that hits 80 while the wizards enemies hit 120. Finally, the enemy knight hits 120 and always blocks my attacks.well I won't type about this guy.Any suggestions?
