A recent Dec 2017 windows 10 update crashed my old MS Office 2003 Outlook – it just gave registry error (and no e-mail!) so I bought new Office 365, 2016 figuring it was about time I got a bit more up to date with MS Office. Note, for what it's worth I followed your instructions exactly and it worked a treat on my account (administrator) but I also have other family user accounts on my PC. When initiating Office 365 2016 on another account for the first time, the outlook e-mail worked fine even though I had only applied your fix to Outlook on my user account. I am running Office 2010 Home, 64-bit/x64-processor, on a Windows 10 platform.I used to have my.PST on a tower hard drive, then transitioned over to a portable thumb drive, then onto a TB external hard drive.All this ran well for a long time.
